Lotters Pine is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! This landmark business started out as a family-owned store in the CBD of Pretoria in 1969. It has grown into 18 branches nationwide in 2019, of which 9 are franchised and 9 are company stores. Lotters Pine has been supplying homes around the country with quality, pine furniture for the past half a century and to this day, the team remains dedicated to stocking the ever-popular pieces but also bringing new, fresh styles and innovative painting and staining techniques to the value-orientated customer.

“Lotters has come a long way since the early days,” says Petro Riding, one of the company’s three directors. “The company started out as a supplier of budget pine furniture and for the past 30 years, we have been modernising and upgrading our designs to keep up with the current trends, specialising in mostly solid pine furniture. The nice thing about solid wood is that it stands the test of time and can be passed down from generation to generation.”

For their 50th birthday, Lotters Pine is giving their customers the opportunity to buy some of their best sellers, including the Janet chair and the Milano Tri-bunk bed, at a massive 50% discount. From the beginning of May until the end of September, a selection of products will be available at half price to thank the public for their support over the past 50 years. To check what monthly offers are on special customers should follow the Lotters Pine Facebook page or go onto the website and then visit their nearest store.

Armando Teixeira, the Lotters Pine Franchise director, says that he is so excited to celebrate their golden anniversary with their customers and he can already see the excitement spreading across their customer base.

Lotters Pine specialises in raw, solid pine furniture that can be painted and stained according to customer’s tastes and style. Ciro Sargenti, the third director, adds that “By customising your solid wood furniture with a paint or stain technique you can be true to your own style and one can even repaint these units to keep up with the trends”.

Staining can either be done as a DIY project with Lotters Pine products, or they offer painting and staining as an additional service. For those who would prefer to choose from a range of finished products, Lotters Pine also stocks pre-stained and painted furniture like the newly launched Royal Range.

As part of the celebration, Lotters Pine stores will be exclusively stocking the new Royal Rustic Range. This range, designed in collaboration between the Lotters Pine design team and a supplier, boasts a beautiful finish and colour, with thick sturdy legs and it is a stylish, on-trend option for discerning buyers.
